People wishing to conduct a wedding (or group activity) in a reserve/park or on a beach, are requested to make application at least three weeks prior to the ceremony/event.

Weddings, religious ceremonies and school functions are all considered to be group activities which require Council approval. Please feel free to contact Council to discuss your proposed activity.

Guidelines are necessary to ensure that activities on Noosa's parks and reserves are consistent with Council's policies and that they remain available for the enjoyment of all park users. An administration charge of $75.00 applies to all applications as from 1 July 2005. Please note that as from 1 February 2006, a credit card charge of 0.7% applies.
