The following information has been provided with permission by Sunshine Coast Council* (formerly the Noosa Council). See also Ceremony Locations on this website for more inspirational ceremony locations.

People wishing to conduct a wedding (or group activity) in a reserve/park or on a beach, are requested to make application at least three weeks prior to the ceremony/event.

Weddings, religious ceremonies and school functions are all considered to be group activities which require Council approval. Please feel free to contact Council to discuss your proposed activity.

Guidelines are necessary to ensure that activities on Noosa's parks and reserves are consistent with Council's policies and that they remain available for the enjoyment of all park users. An application will cost you $150.00.
